Largest Non-Financial Corporate Green Bond in 2022
Societe du Grand Paris was set up in 2010 by the French Government to construct and deliver the Grand Paris Express transport network. The proceeds from this bond will be used to finance the construction of new lines and line extensions including 68 metro stations and seven supporting technical centres. As the network is completely electrically powered and will have very high passenger ridership, it complies with the Climate Bonds Standard Low Carbon Transport Criteria.
